Nissan Cars are Super Duper Safe, Earn Top Safety Pick+ Awards

Several of Nissan’s new cars have earned some pretty nifty awards over the last few months, including some Top Safety Pick awards that have made Phoenix-area families stand up and take notice. Five 2016 Nissan models have earned Top Safety Pick awards, with three of those earning Top Safety Pick+ awards, which means they are among the top echelon of super-duper safe cars this model year.

The 2016 Nissan Sentra, Maxima, Murano, Altima and Rogue are the five models being honored by the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety. A TSP award recognizes cars that have earned top crash test ratings from the Institute, while Top Safety Pick+ awards are earned by vehicles that have a forward crash mitigation systems.
